Obviously, today's business world is the world of partnership; nothing is possible exclusive of partnership. Partnership is simply because of the basic components of a genuine business, e.g., investment, human resource, technical advancement, optimum utilization of resources and market security as well. In Nepal too, after 90's political change and adoption of mixed economy with the policy of liberalization & privatization, role of private sector has significantly increased; and , culture of partnership has also developed gradually. It is the good sign of Nepalese economy.
However, so many bitter evidences of crash in partnership have also been experienced in Nepalese economy. Whatever the number may be, the root cause of poor partnership practices is lack of matured partnership culture, timid & selfish thoughts of stakeholders/players and lack of congenial legal & fiscal environment.
