Negative Ion Therapy

The positive aspects of negative ion therapy have been well documented with over 5000 papers being published in former Soviet Union alone supporting these findings. The ability to neutralize bacteria, viruses and fungi are well known. An article published in Muscle & Fitness Magazine maintains that negative ions help the body recuperate from workouts, enhance sleep quality, improve alertness, increase concentration, decrease reaction time, elevate one's mood, decrease wound healing time and improve skin condition and overall immune function.

Further studies add more positive attributes to negative ion therapy. More than twenty years ago the U.S.A.F conducted double blind studies with negative ions at the Wright Patterson Air Force base. Their findings were that negative ions reduced irritability, depression and tenseness and increased calmness and stimulation. The ability of negative ions to reduce the effects of adrenaline and increase relaxation and sleep were corroborated in improved cognitive function. There are many studies that have shown increased cognitive function and skill set ability improvement due to the presence of negative ions.
