The big secret of dealing with people

There is only one way under high heaven to get anybody to do anything. Did you ever stop to think of that? Yes, just one way. And, that is by making the other person want to do it.

Remember there is no other way.

Of course, you can make someone want to give you his watch by sticking a revolver in his ribs. You can make your employees give you cooperation - until your back is turned - by threatening to fire them. You can make a child do what you want it to do by a whip or a threat. But, these crude methods have sharply undesirable repercussions.

E-Commerce in Nepal

Emergence of e-commerce in itself is a great turning point for Nepalese economy. It is probably the most potential sector that can contribute to address overwhelming unemployment problem by creating better earning opportunities to all. One can easily get involved and enjoy better earnings without any investments and risks.

It seems more suitable for teenagers and young college groups as they can easily catch up general IT knowledge/skill and immediately implement it. Quicker they type in keyboards and faster they surf websites get better income. The most important aspect of e-commerce is that each and everyone can earn foreign currency (remittance) without leaving the country, just sitting in front of their working table and personal computer.

Economy & political stability

Economic development, per capita income growth, GDP and all the measures of economic growth are directly linked to the state of political stability the nation. In Nepal, growth in inflation is in 2 digits while annual growth rate is below 4%. State of balance of payment in negative while NEPSE Index is extremely low. Virtually, nation is fed by remittance earned through foreign employment, especially middle east and Malaysia.

The most important cause of low economic development in Nepal is political instability prevailed for almost two decades, especially after the failure of first elected parliament after the great political change of 1990s. 12 year long armed conflict, fragile post-conflict political situation and total failure of political parties and leaders and more importantly, internal conflicts of political parties are the root causes of political instability in Nepal that is leading the nation towards the direction of failure country.

In this context, current political leadership should leap out of this quicksand with crystal-clear vision and strong willingness.

Negative Ion Therapy

The positive aspects of negative ion therapy have been well documented with over 5000 papers being published in former Soviet Union alone supporting these findings. The ability to neutralize bacteria, viruses and fungi are well known. An article published in Muscle & Fitness Magazine maintains that negative ions help the body recuperate from workouts, enhance sleep quality, improve alertness, increase concentration, decrease reaction time, elevate one's mood, decrease wound healing time and improve skin condition and overall immune function.

Further studies add more positive attributes to negative ion therapy. More than twenty years ago the U.S.A.F conducted double blind studies with negative ions at the Wright Patterson Air Force base. Their findings were that negative ions reduced irritability, depression and tenseness and increased calmness and stimulation. The ability of negative ions to reduce the effects of adrenaline and increase relaxation and sleep were corroborated in improved cognitive function. There are many studies that have shown increased cognitive function and skill set ability improvement due to the presence of negative ions.

Toxins

Every time you ingest, inhale or absorb any toxin your immune system must deal with it. Dr. Bert Berkson, consultant to the National Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Professor of Applied Biology at New Mexico State states, "Your immune system is constantly laboring to remove toxins from your bloodstream and tissues. These pollutants may be city smog, industrial chemicals, herbicides or pesticides. If you smoke you are exposing yourself to additional poisons. If you are a heavy alcohol user, the same is true.

Toxins

Do you think the air is clean? How amount the water? How many chemicals are additives in the food you eat? Current estimates speculate that there are more than three thousand chemicals added to our food supply and more than ten thousand chemicals involved in food processing, storage and preservation. According to the EPA's Toxics Release Inventory, six and a half billion pounds of toxic chemicals are released by hundred million pounds are designated to be carcinogens, however that number is most likely a severe underestimation. Of the 77,000 toxic chemicals being dumped annually, only 2,000 have actually been tested for carcinogenicity. Now you are beginning to understand the level of toxicity that exists in our environment.

The Challenge Facing Youth

Youth today is trying to take on responsibility, and this is a terrific job. To take on responsibility without knowledge or direction leads to a tombstone. The greatest good we can do for a child is to influence him. To teach him can sometimes be difficult.

All we can do is put down in front of him all that is perfect, teach him what is right and wrong, and expect him to do the right thing as you were expected to do the right thing. Bring him to the nicer things in life, then we have done our job. A demonstration of what is right in life will sometimes convince a person that the right way is the way to go.

We have so few demonstrations today. We just tell a person and expect them to go ahead on blind faith. It is a case of the blind leading the blind. Visit a farm. You see compensation right away - right brings right. It's the man who has never been on a farm who says we need fertilizers for the bugs.

Organic way!

We are getting less and less organic - whole, pure, natural - foods everyday. Who wants to grow foods for the market and have them bug ridden? If a grower can keep the bugs off and the food looks beautiful, whether it has the chemical balance or not, what difference does it make to the consumer? These diseased foods are sent right into the marketplace, and more and more of them are arriving each day.

We are not treating our bodies well in this day. This carcinogenic age is increasing, not decreasing. We are afraid to give up pesticides! If we gave them up, pestilence and famine would reign in our gardens. This would be one way Nature would show man how poorly he is governing his earth.

Best Friends Quotes

"You are the only best friend of yourself. Because you are the only one who knows about yourself as no one else does. So believe in yourself when you happen to make a decision of your own life keeping in mind that you are the best person to decide about your own life since you love yourself than you do others."

Stairway to the Top

No doubt, everyone wants to be at the top, at the top with respect to health, wealth, happiness, name & fame. The only fact is that less than 10 per cent of total people are being able to have all of those things. What is the difference between those 10 per cents & the rest? Why do most people waste their lives in 'rat race' routine?

The most important difference is that average people live their lives in average ways, with no specific hope, desire, dream and conviction, so there is nothing to make them work properly for; while, successful people have crystal-clear dreams, desires, hope and strong conviction; that sets their attitude in proactive and positive to every new ideas, concepts and methods. Hence, they attain strong ability to overcome every challenge and get best results. Gradually, they reserve strong confidence, self-image, better relationship with others and dramatically lead others. Ultimately, success of a person depends upon her/his leadership potential.

A Friendly Hatpin

We have to come to the place where we have an awakening. That is all I can hope to do for anyone. Many patients feel that as a doctor I can do this or that, but I really can't do very much. All I can do is give you a little hatpin. Push you along, awaken you, get you started on a new path. I can give you the ball, but you have to carry it.

I know Nature works, but I can't work it for you. All I can do is share it with you. I've been sick myself. I know what it is to be down. I know what it is to have something and then lose it, to have your happiness taken from you through loss of a loved one. I also know what it is to start over in life with a year old babe under your wing.

I know too that the ball that hits the ground hardest, always bounces the highest!

I know that we need the experience of living with sickness and living in this present age. The fool can't understand what's in the wise man's head. The wise man understands what's in the fool's head because he was once a fool himself.

That wisdom you need is coming to you. I don't wish you too many more bad or sad experiences, but I do know you're going to come out of them, because there is only one way to go, and that Is up. There is no experience that you will have that you won't be better for having, no matter how bad you consider it.

Partnership Culture in Nepalese Busniess

Obviously, today's business world is the world of partnership; nothing is possible exclusive of partnership. Partnership is simply because of the basic components of a genuine business, e.g., investment, human resource, technical advancement, optimum utilization of resources and market security as well. In Nepal too, after 90's political change and adoption of mixed economy with the policy of liberalization & privatization, role of private sector has significantly increased; and , culture of partnership has also developed gradually. It is the good sign of Nepalese economy.

However, so many bitter evidences of crash in partnership have also been experienced in Nepalese economy. Whatever the number may be, the root cause of poor partnership practices is lack of matured partnership culture, timid & selfish thoughts of stakeholders/players and lack of congenial legal & fiscal environment.

My journey to E-Commerce

It might be a big blessing from god that I've just come to know about e-commerce where a layman can earn an unbelievable cash in a click. Though I m a beginner, I hope, I can bring a miraculous change in my earning level & enjoy the life of 21st century of IT savvy world. With my leisure time, I can enjoy better earning while gain a lot of knowledge, information and ideas about modern world. In this way, working within a web of innumerable friends worldwide, it can help stimulate the process of socio-economic transformation, especially, of the third world. The key to such transformation is "Skill Transfer" - transfer of technical skill with what a normal people can come into this magic world and earn a lot of money; and gain a lot of knowledge, skill, information and most importantly, tie-up with the most productive teamwork in the universe! Thanks God!!!!

Secret behind success

A hero in any corner of the world has gained heroic status mainly because of his understanding of human life, crystal clear vision, dream and conviction. A genius life-style, high level of thinking, great ideas, honesty, dedication towards work and absolute integrity are some of the characteristics of successful people.

Life insurance

Life Insurance, a time-proven financial instrument trusted globally, is one of the best options for social and financial security of an individual, a family and a community as a whole. It is not only a fundamental right of an individual but, more importantly, an indicator of civilization, well-being & socio-economic development of a society and a nation as well.
A bitter truth, however, is that on the root of some basic social factors, such as, lack of basic knowledge & awareness, fatalistic attitude, poor economic condition and low level of people's participation & access to productive sector of economy, a big chunk of population is being unable to enjoy the benefits of insurance.
In this context, spreading knowledge & awareness on "Insurance & Its Inevitability" incorporating greater size of population all over the world, ensuring people's active participation in insurance sector so as to mitigate sudden & uncertain socio-economic risks and burdens arisen due to natural calamities and disasters stimulated by rapid climate change; diseases, accidents, violence and conflicts; hence, enabling people to take advantages of insurance can be considered our prime duty.

Taxation in MLM Business

No doubt, MLM industry constitutes big contribution to revenue collection. VAT, Custom Duty, TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and income tax are some of the taxes levied to the industry. A mechanism within MLM business system is a key to compulsion of VAT; i.e., every distributor gets certain points in every purchase; commission is paid based on such points. Hence, the company can never hide VAT bill or Tax Invoice. Eventually, it helps regulation of VAT and other taxes in every transaction, resulting big collection of national revenue.

Pricing in MLM Business

Probably, the frequently raised question against MLM business is the pricing of products & price transparency. As evidenced in market, prices of products marketed through MLM companies from a company to another and is quite high than that of local market. For instance, some companies have priced 120g of organic tea NPR 800 to NPR 1000, while, it can easily be obtained in NPR 2 or 3 hundreds in local market. Similarly, some companies have quantum pendants with NPR 700 while some other companies have prices up to NPR 30 thousands.

Hence, matter of scientific pricing, regulation, monitoring and supervision of pricing process are of great importance.

Compensation plans in MLM business

As experienced, basically two types of commission plans are popular in MLM business in Nepal, Binary Plan & MLM Plan. Majority of companies have adopted binary plans with mixed features while some of product based multi-national companies like CNI, K-Link, DXN, Tiens etc. have adopted Multiple leg plans with a wide range of incentives. Recently, some companies are experimenting board plans as well.

Whatever the plan maybe, per cent of good earners drops below 10% and most of the network marketers are living rat-race life and a kind of anxiety can be experienced in big chunk of network marketers in Nepal.

Dimensions of MLM Business - Equal for all

As compared to traditional business system, MLM business creates equal opportunity for all, especially for the poor and marginalized group of people, enabling them to enjoy the benefits of marketing that constitutes almost 70% of market price of products and services available in world market. It mainly maintains Price Equality, Quality Equality, Equal earning & self-development opportunities for all classes of people from every corner of geography.

Dimensions of MLM Business - Access to Quality Products

In general, producers produce the products with different categories with respect to quality focused on the targeted end users. From very beginning, there is a vast difference in the quality of products consumed or used by elites and the poor. But, with MLM companies, no matter which class a person represents, all of the associates are equal and have privilege to buy, use & sell same quality of products. It is the another beauty of MLM business that is a key to establishment of fairness, social justice, equity & protection of consumer right to a great extent.

Dimensions of MLM Business - Aspects of Training

Trainings carried out by MLM companies and their team mainly constitute 3 or 4 aspects of human life -  Attitudinal change & personal development, Skill transfer/development on salesmanship and public dealing, Team play & leadership development & Entrepreneurship development.

If a simple person gets trained in total training & education system of a well-managed MLM company in a lucid manner, he/she can take him/herself towards perfection. It is the gradual process of transformation process that leads people from Zero to Hero. It is the attraction & beauty of MLM Business worldwide.

Dimensions of MLM Business - Training

The most admirable part of  MLM business is Training & education system. Most of MLM companies have a wholesome package of trainings that make a normal people a good marketer, promoter and salesperson in one hand and a good motivator, trainer and a leader as well. Most of people who join any MLM company can hardly leave the company; its mainly due to the power of motivation, value of education he/she get and ultimately the value of their own life they realize; truly a life changing education in the words of world famous writer & entrepreneur Robert T. Kiyosaki.

What kind/category of product they sell, what size of income they enjoy, it doesn't possess great importance, the most important part is what kind of education they get and in which extent does it help social transformation via gradual change in the way of life of average consumers in reality.

Legality aspects of Nepalese MLM Business

Unusual legal actions against a number of Direct Selling Companies, issuance of Direct Selling Directives by the government and immediate dismissal of the same by its successor, divorce of a number of couples associated with the affiliation of different direct selling companies and issue of warrants and arrests of a number of direct sellers by government; all of those incidences urges the necessity of MLM Act in Nepal.

In such circumstances, Government of Nepal should issue MLM Act as per the norms and values of international MLM Industry in the earliest - to regulate this industry and bring it into the circumference of national revenue. Indeed, MLM Industry can help the nation overcome the overwhelming problem of unemployment, probably the most threatening challenge of the nation. It also helps to establish access of normal people to world class products and services as well.

Current Scenario of MLM Business in Nepal

Currently, more than 50 direct selling companies, both domestic & international, are aggressively promoting their business in Nepal. Roughly 1oo thousands Nepalese people, especially unemployed youth, are being engaged in MLM business.Categorically, most of the companies have different food supplements, herbal products and quantum products.

However, a bitter truth is that most of the direct sellers are not being able to earn adequate for sustenance; most of them are roaming around one to another companies, just like a participant of a game called "Musical Chair". The most important reason for underdevelopment of MLM business in Nepal is lack of congenial legal and business environment and ignorance of Nepalese Government in this regard.

Legal action against Gold Quest International & DewSoft Overseas was obvious but the same of Unity Life, a Nepalese company was not fair. It is simply because the government has no clear decision even after the suspension of the company a year back.....

Brief history of MLM Business in Nepal

Though MLM business has more than 5 decade long glorious history in the world, it is in early stage in Nepal. Almost 1 decade of experience in MLM in Nepal has proven its inherent beauty and potential, however, so many problems have also been experienced.

The evolution of MLM industry in Nepal goes to the name of AMWAY corporation and GoldQuest International, with the beginning of 2000, wings of both of the companies have informally started MLM business in Nepal. But, one interesting fact is that there are a number of social systems, in existence in Nepalese society, that constitute the principle of MLM. Some of them are Dhukuti, Dhikuro, Parma, etc...
